Yale has a diverse background in sports editing. He has edited countless Olympic profiles for NBC Sports including stories on gymnastics, boxing, track and field, and swimming. He has edited highlight films for the United States Tennis Association, the National Basketball Association, the National Hockey League, and the New York Racing Association. In addition, Yale has edited a variety of behind the scenes sports documentaries including shows about auto racing, cycling, race walking, and skiing.

In 1983 Yale was the winner of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Outstanding Individual Achievement Award for Film Editing for his work on the "World Series American History Montage." This ninety-second, quick cutting history of the World Series used over 650 still photographs and preceded all 1982 and 1986 World Series games aired on NBC-TV.

"Beyond the Wall" - a 30 minute television documentary chronicling the 156 mile US Pro Cycling Championship held annually in Philadelphia, PA. "Beyond the Wall" won awards at the Chicago and Washington film festivals and was nominated for 2 local emmy awards. This show was edited for Connecticut Public Television and syndicated nationally to PBS television stations.

"Score More With Brunswick " - a series of weekly bowling tip vignettes edited for CBS Sports. Each feature contains a different bowling tip or anecdote and aired nationally during the 1998 Professional Bowlers Association Tour on CBS-TV.

"The Body Tutorial" - a 52 minute exercise video hosted by personal trainer Bob Phillips. This video contains detailed step by step instruction on proper exercise technique and will be available in stores and catalogues in the summer of 2000.

"The Royal Rampage" - a 30 minute special promoting the Pay Per View heavyweight championship fight between Lennox Lewis and David Tua. This show aired on HBO and local television networks in November 2000.
